Message from the Principal
GOVT. GIRLS HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL KOYILANDY started in the year 1961 is the only girls school in the Taluk under The Government of Kerala. Achievements of this institution lies in all dimensions of true education including academic, cultural, and social scenario. We are really proud of our daughters who are serving the nation and society through their professional and social networks. International athlete of the country like Tintu Lukka and Neena Varakil are few among them. Providing innovative learning experiences and imparting proper training we try to deepen the knowledge of our children. At the same time we value relationship with community and take care of the weaker section of the society.
MISSION VISION AND POLICY
We aim at maximum development to the children of this school in all areas of their life including managing personal and social issues . They must lead the
society creating a harmony in their family and thereby in the society and thus the whole country and the world becoming world citizens. Truthfulness and straight forwardness must be their strength. Fighting against the evils must be their motto. They must be given chance to interact with the international community. These things are possible only if the teachers are equipped so. Hence we target on strengthening of our teaching community developing their capabilities and creativity. We hope whole hearted cooperation from the department , Government and general public. We are thankful to the Parent Teachers Association and School Supporting Group for providing the strength and to the local self government body for providing the necessary infrastructure and support.
