Timeless Teachings in a Changing World
In India over the past 70 years, teaching has evolved to meet the changing needs of students. Additionally the demand is great for their academic journey and, eventually into the job market. The dedicated faculty at Govt Girls Higher School goes above and beyond to stay abreast of the academic requirements of the changing world. Although we strive to provide education as per the state requirements, we are sure that we also give valuable skills needed for their future endeavors at the national/ global level.
To meet the needs of the changing world, it is important to incorporate modern technology into classrooms from primary to higher secondary level. Thus, we have been trying to give them white boards and green boards in all academic classrooms. Use of laptops LCD Projectors and
Wi-Fi in every classroom made the learning activities revolutionary. A 1:2 computers / student ratio in IT Labs give adequate virtual experience to develop technological skills needed for the real world. Every academic classroom is also equipped with Mini-Lab and Mini Library.
In a team-teach setting, our faculty members specializes in the languages, maths, science, social
science, art and physical education. Our dedicated staff has participated in the orientation programs designed by the General Education department of this State in order to provide the best learning techniques to our students.
Thus we, GGHSS Koyilandy is keeping ourselves with Timeless Teachings, in this changing world.
